We are African Clean Energy. We are a rapidly growing B Corp enterprise focused on enabling decentralised access to clean energy for households in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Our Salesforce org is our main database for all customer interactions, the customer facing app, quality control, loan management, and measuring and visualising productivity, customer usage and business impact. The list is long, varied and contains unprecedented data on this rarely reached customer segment.
We’re looking for someone to assist our Salesforce department. You will be part of the global tech team which consists of our Head of Salesforce, Salesforce Developer, Tech Project Manager, Tech Adoption Manager, CDO, and CTO. You will also work with local tech teams in each market, and assist with our current growth strategy.

- Support the global tech team in optimising the current set-up as well as building out new objects, apps, automations. We are building and rebuilding our technology to become as future proof as possible to set us up for scale.
- Regularly (e-)meet with the local tech teams and assist with local tech requests and questions. You will also offer specific training where issues arise.
- Testing new builds in sandbox and monitoring its success in production to ensure seamless adoption and roll-outs across markets.
in your Skills & Experience
At least 2 years practical experience as an administrator in salesforce
Comprehensive and demonstrated experience with Salesforce Lightning Record Pages
Experience with Process Automation particularly flows
Experience building new features, objects and fields
Experience with validation rules
Experience with advanced features of reports and dashboard
Support Experience, preferably supporting different timezones
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to capture complex ideas simply, both in written and oral communication
Attention to detail and focus – you pay great attention to getting the small details right
Optimising work processes – you know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
Quick and eager learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent time management skills
Cross cultural work experience
Proactive with a strong work ethic and motivation
Preferred Salesforce Administrator Certification
