Job Description
Are you passionate about using your financial and accounting skills to create a positive impact around the world? Do you have aspirations to help steer a growing company? We are looking for someone to elevate our financial practices and make sure we have relevant and timely insight into our financials.
We need a hands-on Financial Accountant, who will help us maintain accurate records, analyse the outcome, report our progress internally and to our investors and become a core part of the finance team in planning our future. This role has growth and travel opportunities.
Currently we are only accepting applicants already located in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Perform consolidation and prepare monthly and annual financial reports for internal and external use
- Assist the annual budget process supporting all the markets and consolidate group budget for external and internal use
- Track financial results against budget
- Ensure bookkeeping and standard operating procedures and controls are being implemented and followed in each market
- Responsible for head office bookkeeping
- Monthly financial KPI tracking
- Ensure timely compliance with tax and accounting regulations in each market and head office
- Performing analysis on financial information
- Assisting local teams with accounting and reporting questions when they arise
- Involvement in various cross functional improvement projects
Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years of accounting and/or financial controller experience, more is welcome.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience in working virtually
- Eye for detail
- Interest in international markets
- Confidence with accounting software – ACE uses Sage
- Good communication skills
